Privacy notice

This notice explains how we handle the personal data you send us through this website, as required by Article 13 of the GDPR.

Who is responsible

The data controller is Synstorm. You can reach us at info@synstorm.com.

What we collect through the contact form

Your name, your email address, your company (optional), the topic you choose, your message, and the country derived from your connection. We do not store IP addresses.

Why we use it, and on what legal basis

We use your data to answer your request and to take the steps you ask for before a possible contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).

If you join the waitlist for continuous testing, we use your email address to tell you when it launches. That is the step you asked for. Reply “remove” at any time and we delete your entry.

Where the data goes

  • Cloudflare: hosting, our database (stored in the EU), and Turnstile bot protection.
  • Aruba: our mailbox provider. The notification email about your request is sent and stored through it.
  • Umami (Umami Software, Inc.): visit statistics, see below.

Cloudflare and Umami are US companies, so transfers outside the EU may occur. They are covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and/or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep it

  • Form submissions are deleted automatically from our database after 730 days.
  • Notification emails in our mailbox are deleted on the same schedule.
  • Our server logs do not contain your name, email or message.

Visit statistics

We use Umami Cloud to count visits: the page you view, the site that sent you here, your browser, device type, language and country. Umami sets no cookies and does not store your IP address, so it cannot identify you or follow you across sites. We use it on the basis of our legitimate interest in knowing how the site is used (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Cookies

This site sets no cookies. Cloudflare Turnstile processes technical signals from your browser to tell humans from bots.

Your rights

You can ask for access to your data, and for its rectification, erasure, restriction or portability, and you can object to its processing. Write to info@synstorm.com. You can also lodge a complaint with the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
